The Event

The event starts and finishes at the Northcliffe Recreation Ground off Wheatley Coast Road on George Gardner Drive just east of the township of Northcliffe on Saturday 24th April 2021.

Dinner is available 6 - 8pm at The Northcliffe Hotel, Wheatley Coast Road, Northcliffe.

Location:         Surrounded by magnificent national parks, Northcliffe is located 360km                         south of Perth. With towering Karri, Marri and Jarrah forest close at hand                         and the majestic cliffs of the southern coastline only twenty minutes                         away, you can get the best of both worlds.

Format:           100km Karri Cup MTB Challenge - four 25km stages

                        50km MTB Challenge - two 25km stages (stages 3 & 4 of 100km event)

                        25km MTB Challenge - stage 4 of the 100km event

                        Teams - relay, each rider completes one or two stages

Timing:            The electronic timing and results systems for the event are supplied and                         operated by blueChip Timing.

The kiosk  in the Soccer Pavillion will be open from 11:00Am until 7:00PM serving hot and cold foods and drinks throughout the day.

Sunday Kiosk at Rec Grounds

Fresh fruit and homemade biscuits and slices will be provided to all riders at the end of stage 2. The cost of this food is included in the entry fee. Your own supplied foodstuffs will be transported to the lunch stop for you if left clearly labelled at the bag drop.

Saturday Presentation Dinner

The ever popular Saturday evening dinner will again have a great range of tasty and filling country style dishes including vegetarian.  The cost for this meal is $30 adults and $15 for children under 12. The meal can be booked on-line from our registration page.

Start Times:    100km event - 8:00AM from Northcliffe Recreation Grounds

                        50km event - 12:00 noon from Bookalaam Olive Grove

                        25km event - 1:30PM from Hillbrook Winery

                        A shuttle bus and bike trailer service leaves the recreation grounds for

                        Bookalaam and Hillbrook regularly during the morning.
